Welcome to the Ranch!

The American Bison.  What images they evoke.  Rugged, romantic, powerful ....and massive.  The original American cattle.  They are also the original American provisioning company.  They supplied so much for those who understood them.  Through the collective efforts of private ranchers, native American tribes and inter-tribal counsels, Federal and state governmental programs ... and all those who respect and even revere their history and future, the American plains bison ...what we commonly call "buffalo" ... continue to supply so much for the betterment of our lives.

Take a moment to look out the window here at 2hl Buffalo Ranch.  Watch our herd of "buffalo"  grazing across the Texas landscape ...even if it is only 30 acres.  We've been raising them here for over 16 years, and never tire of the sight.  We've been on the big ranches in South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming.  I've watched them on the farms of Kentucky and Virginia ...the preserves in Oklahoma and Kansas.  They are always majestic, and always respected.

Our family has worked long and looked hard to round up the finest collection of American bison products anywhere, from robes and rugs to art and apparel.  Much of what we sell is a collaboration of artists .... artists with needle and thread, with leather awl and skiiving knife, artists with brush and with fiber and with horn.
